Christian Ceremony

Here comes the bride…

We’re running it back for ceremony #2! Just to make sure they really, really want to get married.

Cultural Significance: Emily was raised in a Catholic household and identifies with the Christian faith. This ceremony unites the couple under God from a Christian perspective. You’ll see several common traditions, like the groom entering first in a show of dedication to the bride, the father of the bride walking the bride down the aisle, and the wedding rings, which symbolize an unending, unbreakable bond between groom and bride.

Attire: Same as the Hindu ceremony – no need for an outfit change! You’ll have some time to adjust, reapply makeup, etc. during the cocktail hour before this ceremony.

Meet our Officiant: Chad

Chad Smith, the Maid of Honor’s husband, has known the couple since they first started dating! As an ordained minister and trained pastor, he’ll be leading the Christian ceremony.
